Children Computer Learning Program

The Pals-Program is an extensive Educational Program.

The Pals-Program offers a great solution to all of your early academic and academic special education needs.

This software is especially effective for individuals with autism and other learning disabilities. It incorporates behavioral learning steps that allows all children to learn, regardless of ability. The PALS-program was originally designed for children with autism but bright young children love and excel on the program as well.  PALS was designed for students who are easily distracted (because they are young) or have learning and/or developmental disabilities ranging from mild to severe. This program covers cause and effect, waiting your turn, vocabulary training, categorization, plurals, prepositions, syntax, patterns, auditory processing, concept development, and reading. There are also many lessons teaching time, money calendar and additional educational concepts.

This Program is comprehensive and presented in small, sequential learning steps in order for every child to succeed. The program is also very flexible so the child can move as slowly, or quickly, as necessary for individual success. Assessments show strength as well as weakness.

Why PALS? Today's challenging educational environment requires children to have a solid skill foundation.
The ABA Tutor provides just the that. Parent involvement is minimal, if necessary at all. If your child has learning challenges, attention problems, speech delay, processing and comprehension difficulties this program is a must.
Software to Improve Skill Building Research supports the use of computerized learning. Our program improves attention, turn taking and providing a positive environment for learning. Educational research also teaches us that we learn better, and retain more information, if we are presented with clear pictures and positive reinforcements. The PALS-Program software was developed to help parents, educators and therapists engage children in the experience of learning . With ongoing usage learning to read, count, add, tell time....can be achieved with repetition and reward using traditional ABA techniques provided in the software.

NO ADULT SUPERVISION NEEDED:
PALS was designed to be used independently on the classroom computer. Once the student learns the program they can easily proceed through the lessons. There is a built-in timer for teacher convenience (you can set it for the number of minutes you want the student to work), and an inactivity buzzer that sounds at whatever number of minutes you set if the child’s mind (or body) is somewhere else.

INDIVIDUALIZED INSTRUCTION:
PALS provides research-based instruction for the exact skills which your students need. If a student is unable to perform with the class during a particular time of the school day, have them go on the PALS program. This will eliminate frustration for the child and provide the child with important, individualized learning. It’s like having a tutor in the classroom, and will help each child meet curriculum standards.
EASY TO USE:
PALS is easy to use in the classroom. Just set up a schedule for those students using the program, and have it by the computer. Each child can bring up their own program and work until the timer goes off.

REPORTS:
You can print off a report of individual sessions, or ongoing progress from the beginning of the program. That way you know what the student has been doing without having to be there. The reports are also great for parent conferences to document ongoing progress.

ASSESSMENT:
You can evaluate an unlimited number of students using our standard or individualized assessment. This will give you detailed information on your student’s academic skills, which can be used to determine the starting lessons on PALS as well as for classroom planning.
